Who can join the training camps?
Our camps are open to football players aged 12-23 who are serious about developing their skills and pursuing a professional football career. Players of all levels are welcome, but the focus is on high performance training for ambitious athletes.
How much does the training camp cost?
The price for the 1-week training camp is €1,500. This includes daily training, accommodation, meals, gym access, transport during the trip, video footage for your football CV, and a personalised player assessment report. Flights are not included.
What is the schedule like during the camp?
Each day is centred around intensive training sessions designed to enhance your skills, fitness, and tactical understanding.
Over the course of the week, you will also:
- Participate in one or two competitive matches to test your abilities.
- Engage in video analysis sessions to gain insights and refine your performance.
- Take part in evening activities to bond with teammates and recover for the next day.
Are scouts guaranteed to be present at the camp?
Yes, scouts from S.C. Espinho and other Portuguese professional clubs are present at every camp. Players who perform exceptionally may be invited to trial for our academy teams or even the 1st team, depending on their age and abilities.
What is the pathway for talented players?
Outstanding players can progress through our structured academy system:
- Academy teams at U13, U15, U17, and U19 levels.
- A potential pathway to S.C. Espinho's 1st team, which competes in Portuguese professional leagues.
Please note that trials are based on merit and performance during the camp.
Will I receive feedback on my performance?
Yes, every player receives a personalised player assessment report from our coaching staff. This report highlights your strengths, identifies areas for improvement, and provides guidance on how to develop further.
What qualifications do the coaches hold?
Our coaching staff consists of UEFA-licensed professionals with extensive experience in player development. Our coaches hold either a UEFA A or UEFA B coaching license, ensuring top-quality training and guidance throughout the camp.
Is there video footage provided?
Yes, our professional videographer captures key moments from training and matches. These clips will be used to create a video highlight reel for your football CV, which can help you stand out to scouts and coaches.
Where will I stay during the camp?
Players will stay in accommodation provided by S.C. Espinho. The facilities included shared rooms, gym access, and a comfortable environment to relax and recover after training.
How can I apply for the camp?

Are there future opportunities beyond the camp?
Yes, in addition to potential trials, we're launching residential programs in 2025. These programs will range from 6 to 20 weeks and provide an immersive experience designed for long-term player development.

Yes, parents or guardians are welcome to visit, but we encourage players to focus fully on the camp experience. Detailed updates, including video highlights and reports, will be provided to keep families informed.
